Cooperation Agreement between AVPA and the Hadong Tea & Bio Foundation: A Bridge between France and Korea through Tea

During the exceptional Korean tea tasting organized as part of the OFF day of the Paris Tea Festival, AVPA formalized an important collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hadong Tea & Bio Foundation, a Korean organization specializing in research and development in the field of tea.
This agreement, signed on June 14, 2025, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening scientific, technical, and cultural exchanges between France and Korea in the tea sector.
The main areas of cooperation defined in the agreement:
Promotion of tea research and industryBoth parties commit to collaborating on joint research projects, technical exchanges, and academic initiatives to support the development of the tea sector.
Exchange of experts and researchersThe MoU includes the regular organization of exchanges between tea researchers and professionals, encouraging their participation in events, trade shows, and collaborative projects in both countries.
Cross-training programsThe agreement also includes the creation of skill-building programs, including internships in Korea for European professionals and study stays in France for young Korean professionals or students, with a focus on sensory analysis and expertise related to fragrance and aroma.
This partnership is established for a period of five years and may be renewed by mutual written agreement. It represents a strategic step for AVPA, directly aligned with its mission to promote exceptional agricultural products on an international scale.
The MoU signing, attended by Ksenia Hleap, AVPA representative, and Jong Cheol Kim, Director of the Hadong Tea & Bio Foundation, took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere—highlighting a moment of rich exchange between cultures, flavors, and artisanal knowledge.
