Korean Tea Tasting at AVPA during the OFF Day of the Paris Tea Festival

As part of the OFF day of the Paris Tea Festival, AVPA had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional tasting of Korean teas in its offices, in the presence of a delegation that traveled specially from South Korea.

The event was a rare opportunity to discover the ancestral know-how, cultural richness, and aromatic finesse of Korean teas, still little known in Europe.

Producers, who came directly from Korea, passionately shared their work, their terroirs, and the specificities of their processing methods. The audience was thus able to experience a true immersion into Korean tea culture through guided tastings, demonstrations, and privileged exchanges.

This meeting also marked a new milestone in the cooperation between AVPA and the Korean Tea Society, strengthening the Memorandum of Understanding recently signed between our two organizations. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to promote exceptional Korean teas and to support their recognition on the international stage.
