AVPA – Paris, october 30th, 2025
AVPA wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all participants who contributed to the success of this exclusive tasting event, dedicated to Levêlez chocolates — winners of the AVPA ‘Chocolats du Monde’ International Contest, Paris 2025.
We would like to warmy thank Mrs Sylvia Guedez and her husband, who travelled all the way from Mexico, for the inspiring presentation of their exceptional creations. Their passion, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality and authenticity made a lasting impression on this gathering, which offered a chance to rediscover chocolate as a true expression of the terroir.
This moment of sharing was marked by discovery, exchange, and the celebration of taste, true to AVPA’s mission: to honor outstanding producers and bring their products closer to the professional gastronomy world.
Our thanks also go to:
Stéphane Grangeot, épicier gourmet Le Jardin d’Estrées - 7th arrondissement, for his presence, keen interest in AVPA-awarded products, and the collaboration and distribution projects initiated following this tasting.
Marie-Pascale Ragon, Alumni Relations & Events Manager at Ferrandi Paris, for her support and dedication to fostering lasting connections between award-winning producers, AVPA products, and the professional French gastronomy world.
Pascale Adeline, President of the Jury of the International Contest “Chocolates Processed at Origin AVPA,” for her pivotal role in promoting artisan chocolatiers.
Arnaud D’Ussel, chocolatier and AVPA Jury member, for his expertise and professional perspective on the tasting.
Cédric Lartigue, chocolate and confectionery instructor at FERRANDI Paris – Saint Gratien Campus, for his participation and vision regarding the training of future chocolate talents.
Selva Fournier, pastry chef at À la Source by Chef Nicolas Salle, for her sensitive and technical insights into the work of origin chocolate.
The Art of Chocolate at its Source: Talents that Elevate Nature
This tasting offered an opportunity to celebrate origin chocolatiers, passionate artisans who cultivate, ferment, roast, and process their cacao themselves, revealing the full aromatic richness of their terroirs. Their artisanal approach, respectful of nature and local traditions, embodies the spirit of the “Chocolates Processed at Origin AVPA” contest: recognizing the complete work of the producer-artisan, from the field to the chocolate bar.
An Artistic and Human Exchange
AVPA also wishes to thank Mrs Olga Dubois, Belgian singer, for her attentive presence and enriching exchange with producer Sylvia Guedez. Her artistic sensitivity and curiosity about the world of chocolate added a human and cultural dimension to the event, highlighting the natural bridges between gustatory and artistic creation.
This tasting brilliantly illustrated AVPA’s mission: bringing together producers, experts, and gastronomy professionals around the recognition of authentic taste and artisanal craftsmanship.
