On Friday 15 April, the AVPA had the honour of welcoming in its premises eminent members of the Representative Office of Taiwan in Paris, Mrs. TSAI, Deputy Director of European affairs of Taiwan’s Representative Office, and Mrs WU, First Secretary of the Representative Office of Taiwan, for a pleasant Awards ceremony during which the Taiwanese winners of the 4th International Contest “Teas of the World” were awarded.
Let us remind you that, in this contest, the 19 producers of Taiwanese tea had 47 of their teas rewarded.
The prize giving ceremony was followed by the tasting of 6 teas of different categories that were chosen among the winners. Jeremy Tamen, a member of the AVPA jury presented the teas and commented their tasting in front of the attendees, among which were tea importers, fine tea distributors and members of the specialized press.
